   A fractal is a mathematically created shape that has the property whereby the closer you look at the structure you find the same repeating figures and shapes. The Mandelbrodt Set is such a figure.
    
    To use this program move the cursor over the image and center the red square over the area you want to magnify and click.  You will be prompted for a number of iterations to use.  As you move deeper in you will need higher numbers, but you can re-draw the same area with a different number by using the so-named button below.
